Good Morning--
The big pool is all completed now. The volleyball folks are very happy with the results and say the new surface feels great. Work now begins at the north pool.

Ha Ha.........you thought I forgot him this morning, didn't you??
I think he looks much happier this morning. Almost a smile.
The back nine is coming along nicely. What a pretty view with all the sprinklers sparkling in the sunshine.
Welcome back to Steve and Ann Merriman! Steve is another one of our "Urban Miners" that help with all our aluminum recycling. Good to see them back again. Kent Evans will enjoy having his fellow recycler back in action.
This job with the compactor must take some strong arms. I think it would jar my brain loose in about two seconds. This thing bounces up and now with FORCE to tromp down the dirt surface.
The front nine of the course is undergoing the dusty reseeding process. While it is "shorn" is a good time to drive the truck up there and finish trimming the palms.
Faustino again hard at work
.
Say hello to Lillie Corbitt. She is an assistant to Jim Dawson. If you can't get to Jim because he is too busy, contact Lillie and she will try to help. I'm sure she handles many of the "behind the scenes" projects around here.
And last ...... but certainly not least in MY world..... say goodbye to our kitchen table for the season. Why?? Because our residents are returning with computers full of viruses they've gathered over the summer and they bring them here for Don's tender loving care. We now eat on TV trays in the living room because the table is usually stacked with computers.
P.S. Thank you to Ann Koistinen for the flowers!
Computers NEED a tune-up now and then just like any other appliance. A tune-up improves the speed and security of your computer by removing unnecessary files and configuring security settings. This will be an interesting season to watch Don's work load since Best Buy has moved out of town.
So don't let your computer frustrate you. Just get it tuned up and fixed.
P.S. Computer club starts up on November 7.

Here is a "thank you" to Avis and Larry Gray for allowing us to perch on their patio every morning for pictures of the construction area. Tell Avis she has cute shoes.
I received a clever email from a friend. Thought I would share it with you.
