I received this email from Gwen Black offering to help any Palm Creek people in that area:
"Some other Canadian may have alerted you there's a terrible fire burning in northern Alberta resulting in the evacuation of the city of Ft. McMurray. Lots of pictures in the news, the biggest evacuation due to fire in our history. I don't know if any Palm Creekers live in Fr. Mc, but if you happen to find out, we'd sure like to offer help. We have extra beds. "
