Tiffin Allegro Rally

This week of April 11 through the 15th, we are being over run with shiny beautiful Tiffin Allegro motor coaches as they come streaming through the gates.  There are 250 coaches registered for the actual rally but I hear that another 30-50 rigs are tagging along as they want to be here for some of the sideline events.

Anyone looking for a new coach has definitely come to the right place!  LaMesa RV has a whole slew of new and used rigs here on display.  Palm Park is filled to the brim with new rigs.  They even laid out the nice green carpet to enhance the walkways (and probably help  keep the coaches clean from foot traffic.)

It is a very impressive display and draws a big crowd all day long.

It takes a big crew just to welcome the rigs and get them parked.  Our rangers have been hard at work.

Even Christy Kochen was out with radio in hand to help direct traffic

I was curious to see what the rally has in store for the participants so I photographed their schedule from a bulletin board.  If you increase the font size, you can read all the activities and seminars to be held.  That's why all our community rooms are in use this week.

I copied this from the Palm Creek Facebook page:

The multi-purpurpose room was filled to the brim last night with patriotic colors. Rally members were treated to a wonderful dinner. Marion, our Special Events Manager, and Robin, our Kitchen Manager, gathered up all the available employees to help serve our visitors. We were able to serve 550 meals in 30 minutes! Great job, team!
