Here is the first non-Cavco house to arrive in Palm Creek. This is a "Champion" home now located at Site 2017. It just arrived so we can't get access inside yet. It will be interesting to see what new features this style of home will bring to us.
John Blount was there, of course, to make sure it was secure in its position.
Here is another new feature. We now have a 3-way stop along the west wall on Sandy Desert Drive.
We talked with Fernando today. He hopes to have the palm trees finished within a week.
It's amazing to see the steady stream of new houses coming into the park. I hear that most of these homes are rentals which means they have to be furnished. Wouldn't that be a fun adventure to shop for all the furniture, fixtures, supplies, bedding, appliances, decorations, etc. for 35-40 homes?
Think of all the glasses and dishware to be ordered, unpacked, washed, and delivered to the new houses.
Lots and Lots and Lots of work to be done in the next few weeks as I understand that many (if not all) of these new homes are already rented out for the coming season.
