Bees

Tom Gottfried captured a bee in action on one of his lantana plants.

Speaking of bees..........Some time ago, I was up at the north pool and managed to rescue a bee that had fallen into the water.  Just happened to have my cellphone within reach so decided to video the little critter while he dried himself off before flying away.

I could label this next  photo "busy bees" as Julie and Evie head off to the golf course in the early morn.

I've been watching this cactus in front of 1952 (home of Betty and Paul Preston Steel).  The blooms started out real dark in color so looked like a giant Caterpillar.  Now the buds have expanded and look like giant ladybugs.  Arizona plants are soooo unique and fascinating to study.

Everyone always asks for more cat pictures.  Here's Mouse in one of his favorite hideouts for his morning nap.
