Francisco Grande hotel is planning to make a big expansion near the hotel. Let's just wait and see before we get excited. Lots of flood plain issues to be resolved first.
Palm tree trimming is underway. Red area was done first.
Green is next.
Don and I experimented this week with our first on line order at Frys for grocery pick up. I was really impressed with the Frys website as they have kept track of EVERYTHING we've ever purchased at the store. We just scrolled through the list and clicked on what we wanted. Then we selected when we wanted to pick up our order. When confirmed, you just park in a numbered slot in their parking lot, dial the phone number posted on a sign there, and a masked and gloved employee brings the items to the car. Slick! If they are out of stock on an item, they send an email with a suggested substitute for approval. Really enjoyed the experience. AND....the best part is that we didn't have to haul the groceries out to the car in our 107 degree heat.
Now for the best part of shopping this way:
They package the groceries in old-fashioned paper bags!
Mouse LOVES them!!
And he's exhausted after an afternoon of chasing toys into the bags.
