We spotted a climber this morning as he trims the palms around the pond. Up the ladder first and then up higher to the top. Whew!
We have many trees that can't be reached by truck. The professional climbers are quite an asset.
I'm researching for an answer as to why an occasional tree gets skipped during the trimming process. They don't look any taller than the ones next to them but for some reason they're missed in the street.
We also notice that this new contractor leaves a few extra branches at the top instead of trimming them way back. Their "hair cut" looks good and is much needed.
LOTS of trimming is being done all around the resort. Our crews are really busy these days. I guess with the contractor working on the palm trees, it leaves time for our crew to keep everything else in top condition.
The Holiday Inn Express appears to be getting a paint job too. Is it primer??? or are they going to paint their place white also?? Can't tell yet.
WOW! There was a car accident at the corner of Arizola and Florence Blvd this weekend. I'd say it is more than a fender bender! The speed limit is 35. How fast were they going?????????
