Thank you to the Palm Creek Chorus for their annual singing valentine program! It was so fun to send and receive their fun lyrics and tunes.

It's a great day in the neighborhood as I already have a copy of this week's Bistro menu for you. Why am I so diligent at trying to post this weekly menu?? It's because I LOVE OUR BISTRO and am so grateful to have the service and delicious offerings it provides. Greg, Chef, and the whole crew are to be applauded.
The Cancer Awareness fund raising week we had in the past has now changed to "Giving Day" where Palm Creek will raise funds for three worthy charities: The Valley Humane Society, Seeds of Hope, and the Pinal County Veterans Group.
Our Activities staff has been busy with a totally new agenda of events. 😄
These little ducks are adorable and were hand crafted by the folks in Activities!
In keeping with our Tumbleweeds, Tombstones and Trouble ‘Giving Day’ slated for Feb 21st Activities is selling little cowboy/cowgirl ducks for charity! Pick up a duck for yourself or simply ‘duck’ a friend or neighbor. Our ducks are $5 each and proceeds will go to three local charities-Seeds of Hope, Valley Humane Society and Pinal County Veterans Memorial Foundation.
Three GREAT charities. Glad to see Palm Creek is sponsoring them.

iPhone Class:
Our class on Saturday was FUN and according to feedback, participants were excited about the new features they learned about the space age machine they carry in their pocket.
I have answers for ALL the questions folks asked so be prepared for more new information this Saturday, February 10 at 9:30 in the Sonora South or maybe the SanTan room? LOL.
No need to sign up for the class. Just come and help us set up tables and chairs if we get a crowd. We're asking for a $5 donation but it is not a requirement.
The Firemen's Spaghetti dinner was another sellout event with 400 people being served. This event draws a great crowd every year just to honor our local Fire Department and the wonderful service they provide to Palm Creek. I joked with them a bit about how often they respond to our park.
They have a very talented bagpipe player who leads off the evening.
Congratulations to Deb Lindenmuth for her promotion to Facilities Manager!
Here's this week's menu for the Bistro:
Thank you to Barb Poole for sending me this week's menu for posting.
Here you go folks! Today is my favorite day for Chicken Enchilada Soup. Delicious.
Don't forget about the yummy food over at the Takeaway Cafe at the ballfield.
WHAT DOES THIS BUTTON DO?
By popular request, I'm going to conduct a couple iPhone classes again this season. First ones are coming soon.
Saturdays: January 13 and again on January 20 at 9:00 a.m. in Sonora South
I bought a new projector so am asking for $5 per person for the classes. Classes will benefit both newcomers, rookies, and long-term users as there is always something new to learn. Signup sheets will be posted in Activities.
