More rain, dredging, pavilion

Tuesday

We had another .6 of rain.

LOL......had to laugh at this soaking wet dove.

Beautiful rainbow captured by Terry Sommerville.

Wednesday morning was "iffy" for rain but it held off so we could get out on our regular rounds.  Don was back to his usual chores of replacing missing sprinkler heads.  Must go back to Home Depot again as his supply has run out.  It's been a busy summer.

Crews are all back to work around the park.

Next house had some sun screens ready to fly off in the next wind.  Make sure those little tabs are on tight before you leave after this season.

Landscape crew is out picking up all the branches and palm bark that litters the place after a storm.

At the end of the day!

Wednesday

Dredging work is completed for now.  Time to pack up.

Here's the front end of the dredger.  You can see how it mows through the sludge and sucks it up to the big hose.

Must be quite a costly project.

Another truck picks up all the black floats.

Over by the pickleball pavilion.
At first I didn't see much to photograph.

But at the other end of the area, I see poor John digging this trench by hand in the heat and humidity.

There's not enough room to get the ditch witch so close to the fence.

I felt sorry for the heavy manual labor on such a hot muggy day.  Scott came to the assist.

Mouse had a GREAT day when a big shipment arrived from Costco.  He loves a good box to hide in and chew on.
