Resurface, Cactus, Hummers, Mouse

Mark Kenner has been inundated with calls regarding the irrigation system saying that the sprinkler heads are broken. They are not (that's the good news) . The well pump is not providing the proper pressure due to a bad transformer. This is being replaced today. But thank you to everyone for reporting a possible problem.

Remember that we have street resurfacing projects scheduled for Monday May 4.  There was a flyer in our mailboxes last week.  Here's the schedule:

Pretty cactus in bloom at Site 1631 this morning.  Looks like a couple more buds to open in a day or two.  I thought it was unusual to see these big tall stalks in bloom.

I like to ride past site 1407 to check on the hummingbird nest (and chat a bit with resident Dan Spanton).  We can now see the little heads and beaks over the nest edge.  Cute to watch Mom at feeding time.

Mouse knows treat time will come soon so he rests in wait.

We'l add a drive past site 707 for our daily tour to see what wisdom they posted.  Thank you to the McCaskills for the daily smile.

Just a reminder to the folks that are upset about the weeds.  Please be patient.  Crews are steadily working away.  This area looks great!
