This message was posted this afternoon announcing the closure of ALL outdoor amenities. Nextdoor is buzzing with comments from both sides. Whew! These are extraordinary times for everyone!
In an effort to ensure the well-being and health of all of our guest’s and resident’s Sun Communities Inc. has made the decision to immediately close ALL OUTDOOR AMENITIES until further notice at ALL 500+ properties. This includes all outdoor sports activities, outdoor pavilions, dog parks, play areas, etc. These closures are effective immediately and our teams will be locking gates, and removing all items involved with the amenities as soon as possible. All clubs and activities groups are to lock up all equipment and storage spaces to ensure these areas are not being used.

Dog parks are closed and all flags are at half mast.
While out for a cart ride this afternoon, we stopped to chat with a few people we saw out for a walk. Chip and Sandy Milner were excited that they were able to purchase a full package of TP at the store today. 😊
Harriett was out walking with friends....all keeping their secure distance.
Julie Calef was out washing her patio. Good thing I was far enough away from the long reach of her hose! 😁
