Palm Creek received a very welcoming message from the Casa Grande Flying Club this week. With all the new expansion plans coming here this summer, we'll be saying farewell to our own flying field. The Casa Grande club is extending a warm welcome for our avid RC fans to join them.
Here's the message from Alan Friedman:
The officers and members of The Casa Grande RC Flyers were sorry to learn of the impending closure of the Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort airfield on May 1, 2017. We want their Palm Creek club members to know that we would welcome them as members of our club, if they desire to join. Many of our members started in this wonderful hobby at Palm Creek. Information about our field, club and membership are on our web site: www.CasaGrandeRCFlyers.com
Also, they are having an Air Show next Saturday. Information is below.
