Daily Report

Just a reminder that while all our heavy construction continues, our landscape crews continue to work on keeping the park beautiful.

The floor for the pro shop was poured last night.  Crews are smoothing it down this morning.

Bistro seems to be coming along nicely.  I anticipate many lovely afternoons here.

Always enjoy meeting friends for lunch here and it's a great place to hold small meetings.

It was a beautiful morning at a cool 76 degrees.  

There's rain in the forecast (hopefully).

Isn't it weird how half our country is drowning and half is on fire.

All those disasters make our desert look mighty fine!

It's another long morning at the keyboard so think I'll go join Mouse for a little nap.

He looks relaxed and stress free, yes??

Construction Update

Wow.  We're into September already.  All crews and contractors are working hard and fast to get ready for your return.  I'm attaching a lot of pictures and try to get close ups of the hard working people.  It's hard to remember that it is between 105 and 110 EVERY DAY while these people are out in the full sun at their jobs.  If things aren't perfect when you return, I sure hope you will understand how hard they are trying to complete their projects.

Saw the landscapers skinning the grass in preparation for reseeding.

Chris from our maintenance crew is out painting some stop sign posts.

Heavy work in the hot sun.

The ballroom is moving fast now that all the underground stuff is done.

Working with these metal beams wouldn't be much fun in this baking HOT heat.

Ouch!

Tried to get a picture inside the old pro shop but not much to see in there yet.

Mouse has a new expensive bed.  He tried it out the first day.

But he seems to be just as comfortable in the bathtub....

or the laundry basket.

Another Post

Hello Readers,

Nothing really exciting to see here today but want you to know we're watching the activity for you.  The north 40 is really busy but all I could show you is more piles of dirt as they dig to put in all the different kinds of pipes for that complex.

Lots of activity at the ballroom.  Hammers and saws can be heard all day long.  I do like the smell of fresh lumber being cut.  It always promises good things to come.

The anchors under the sewing room are all installed and leveled.

Almost ready to pour footings and floor at the pro shop.

The expanded Bistro will be great fun.

Mouse Tails:

Just another day for the Mouse.  I love it when he curls up here on my desk while I work.  Always makes my heart go "awwwwww".  

I can tell when I've been working too long though as he falls asleep.  He sure is growing fast, isn't he?

Making rapid progress on the pro shop now.  Footings have been poured.  Next will come the posts.  Should be ready for a concrete floor sometime next week.

A group of golfers were watching and getting ready to tee off.

It was a lovely cool 78 degrees this morning.
