Happy New Year

Good Morning Readers!  I hope to see some of you at our presentation tomorrow morning (Wednesday, January 5) at our computer club meeting.  9:30 a.m. in the Santan Room.  I've been asked to give a talk about this blog, a little history, and perhaps some "how to" if the audience is interested.  Come be our guest.

SWOOP

Have you played the card game "Swoop" before?  It is a FUN easy to learn game that meets every Monday at 12:30 in the Adobe Room.  Come one, Come all.  Come alone or bring a friend.  Everyone is welcome to join the group even if you have never played before.  We'll be glad to welcome you and get you started.  This is the perfect game for any newcomers to the park as you will soon become friends with everyone at your table.  Masks are recommended but not required.

Have questions about the game?  I'll be sitting at a table at the Expo this Saturday so stop by to say hello.

Saturday, Jan 8, 9a.m. to 1p.m.     CLUB EXPO

Friday, Jan 14, 5:00p.m. is the Firemen's Spaghetti Dinner

I'm glad to see that this event is SOLD OUT!  That means we're supporting our local fire department as much as we can for this event.  They usually have some kind of "pass the boot" or a 50/50 drawing or some other fund raiser event so be sure to bring extra cash.  Our fire department EMTs have saved quite a few lives among our residents and are here on numerous occasions to rescue us from the trauma we fall into.  I myself have been driven off in their wonderful ambulance on a couple occasions so I am an avid fan.  You just never know when you may need them for a rescue.
