Rainbows and a Wedding

Finally some exciting news to share.  We had some RAIN!!  It's such a rare occurrence here that we get excited about it.  It certainly wasn't much but any moisture in the desert is welcome.

The light rain brought out a double rainbow so folks were out with cameras to capture the wonder.

Our weather has been lovely (other than for a few windy days).  We took a few casual photos showing off the pretty sky and green golf course.

Nancy Flader took this photo of me sitting on a bench as we watched some golfers finish on the 18th green.

Lawn mowers are always at work.  We have some pretty fancy machine to do the work.  They can turn on a dime and get very close to trees and obstacles.  Actually fun to watch.

Our resort is so pretty that this couple chose it as their wedding site!!

This time of year is spring break for the grandkids so we have fun visitors to the park.  I spotted these guests having fun at the fish pond.  Looks like the ducks were interested too.  This is one of the fun features for our young visitors.

Robert Wyss captured a great photo of our Palm Creek turtle soaking up some warm sunshine.

**Thank you to fellow "Creekers" for submitting photos of activities around the park.  Please continue to contribute.

The summer of 2020 was brutal and it's a wonder most of our fruit trees survived.  From what I've seen so far this spring, it looks like the trees are flourishing.  We notice lots of blossoms on trees as we do our daily rounds.

Orange blossoms smell lovely!  I hope there will be a healthy crop when you return this fall.
