Just pictures & Avocado Nursery presentation

Remember when I posted about Tom Gottfried's new hobby of making cholla stems into planters?

There is another informative seminar announced:

As mentioned about a month ago, I'm working with Phil Bond at Avocado Nursery to do a training session on making cholla planters.  Depending on its popularity, we may have to plan another, but for now, the first is scheduled for 9/25, 9AM at the nursery.  Attached is an invitation.  We will be doing the meeting in the nursery's wood shop, so seating will be limited to 25.

I think the time will be well spent for those interested in unique designs for planters or as works of art.  Have seen some remarkable pieces online at Etsy. Phil is building a special display area in his sales room to show some of the planters already designed, using succulents, cactus, and air plants.
