This has been a very exciting weekend with all the Cancer Awareness events. In addition to all the festive activities, I do want to acknowledge and give recognition to the speakers that were here for our Neighborhood Watch program Saturday.
Jeanine Sumption works diligently to keep the Neighborhood Watch program active. Yesterday we enjoyed a presentation by Lupe Reyes of the Casa Grande Police Department and Scott Arnold from the Pinal County Adult Detention Center. Lupe is a Criminal Intelligence Detective that works closely with the gang task force. It's really informative to hear about the gang activity in the cities of Arizona. We also learned how to interpret the messages that are scrawled on a wall of graffiti. Fascinating! Thank you to Dean Lanes for arrangements.
This was a VERY informative presentation on gang activity.
