Dinner, Health Fair, and more

These nice seasonal decorations are a great way to impress our newcomers as they approach the front office.

Congratulations to Robin Perry and her staff for a delicious Autumn Dinner!  We enjoyed a lovely meal with pork chops, potatoes, veggies, rolls, and great dessert.  We so appreciate our upgrade to good china, real silverware, and glasses.  Those of us who have been here a few years remember paper plates and plastic forks.

Also a big thanks to the staff for their prompt and very organized serving.  We all received our food timely and fast while the food was still hot.  That's 16 tables of 8 people each.  It was a good crowd and great service!

We look forward to the upcoming meat loaf dinner on Thursday, November 14.  Stop by the Bistro or the Activities office to purchase your tickets for $11 per person.  Dinner will be served from 4:30 - 6:30 pm.  There is no specific time you have to be in by.  Sounds like something new.

Hello to Ron & Alex from the Special Events team.

WOW!!  I've never seen such a well groomed poodle!  He is just beautiful!!  Richelle says the secret is to use the right products on the right breed of dog.  She must know her stuff!!!

Family Dentistry is holding a raffle for a free bleaching.

The Joint was offering a free back massage and advertises their full line of services.  Two doctors on staff and open seven days a week.

Gary Keller was present with a representative from Zilis advertising for their magical CBD oil.  I can personally vouch for the product as it certainly help me with my arthritis!  It has also dramatically helped Gary with his Parkinsons problem.

Bob and Julie are signing up to get their flu shots from Walgreens.

Rita Mullins and her daughter, Marcia, are present to talk about their Silver Stretchers class.

Yoga anyone?

April Crimmins has several classes for us regarding fitness and exercise.

Dee Dee was present to talk about the line dance classes.  Hopefully she will soon be able to get her group transferred to the ballroom as her class size is growing.

As I was leaving the event, I spotted these behind the scene elves getting the decorations ready for the Veterans Day breakfast.  Looks like some very nice decorations for an important event.

Don walked home from poker the other night and stopped to admire the fountain.  Hopefully future expansion plans will put this kind of fountain at all the locations.  Really looks nice!

AND............it is wonderful to have the new LED lights along the path through the course.

Meanwhile back home, I found Kat and Mouse comfortably tucked away in Don's closet for their morning nap.  They need a mid morning nap after being awake and rambunctious at 5:30am.  They are adorable furry alarm clocks but I haven't learned how to adjust their awake settings!
