October 1 and it begins

We turn the page to October and the action begins after a long HOT summer.  We played up in the card room this afternoon and watched a steady stream of RVs lining up in the arrival lanes.  They truly were lined up four and five deep for most of the time.  Kudos to the rangers for keeping up with the task of getting them all parked.

We can all now get our new name badges at the front desk.  I like the fact that they tried to make the names bigger and easier to read.  For some reason, the photos don't get any better though.  LOL

Today is the end of the summer party for the summer residents who have been attending Tapas Tuesday every week.  They're holding a big outdoor party at the new Cottonwood pool.  I'm sure someone will be posting photos.

Speaking of pool parties, we have a big celebration for the reopening of the main pool scheduled for this Friday.  Stop up at Activities to get your free tickets.  Can't pass up the music, food, and soda or the BYOB event.  See you there!  You need to pick up your ticket so they can have an accurate headcount of food to buy.

While you're in Activities, you can also pick up your season tickets as they're being distributed now.

What's new with the cats??

Kat has definitely honed his climbing and jumping skills.

Mouse still likes to find a cubby hole for napping.  The smaller the space, the happier he is.

....or he spends time keeping me company at my desk if we can have the window open for bird watching.
